Sisterhood isn't a Trend, it's a Lifestyle

Books by Daines is proud to partner with Seven & 6 The Gift Company because proceeds from products like their hand-poured candles help to support their nonprofit organization, The Core Foundation, Inc. 

After proudly serving our country in the United States Air Force, owners  Cyntoria Monroe and Dejuette Swain have dedicated their lives in retirement to the self-development, self-care, self-sufficient living, fitness & nutrition of African American girls in Eastern North Carolina.

Their project, Sister Circle, is designed to actively connect with and nurture the growth of girls ages 8-18. These amazing women are providing educational services, mentorship, emotional and social guidance, and mental health support for the precious young women of the next generation.

While the Core Foundation does yet not operate from a permanent location, they've been fortunate to host their events and programs from a donated space.
